The Venue

Flourish Fest 2013 will be held in the beautiful surroundings of Castletown Geoghegan, Co. Westmeath. Situated in a rural parkland setting, the boutique camping yurtsite is surrounded by over 200,000 trees which the owners, the Murphy family, planted in the last 5 years. Their  forests consist of mature Chestnuts, Ash, Beech, Elm, Oak, Scots Pine, Hazel, Willow, and Cherry.

The Murphy Family

Their site is carbon positive – they cultivate and grow as much foodstuffs and fuel as they can and by planting more trees they strive to offset our carbon footprint. Dotted throughout the parkland are Celtic folklore and Ogham alphabet symbols, together with some Síle na Gig (ancient Celtic fertility symbols).

Accommodation on site

The site has a range of beautifully restored buildings and beautiful traditional yurts imported from Mongolia. A few yurts will be available to rent for festival goers.
